Dr. Renee Cevey received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996, and her MD in 2000 from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2003, she completed her pediatric residency training in San Antonio, Texas at Wilford Hall Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center. After serving as one of several staff pediatricians in pediatric clinics first on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona and then subsequently at Wilford Hall Medical Center Pediatric Clinic, she now has gone into private practice. She and her husband are now in the stage of dealing with teenage children of their own!
Dr. Cevey's passion is equipping her patients' parents with the knowledge and understanding to optimize the health and well-being of their children. She loves teaching parents and directly teaching patients as they grow older and take a greater role in their own health care. There are many conditions and illnesses whose management have been greatly improved by modern medications and treatments, but there are also a great many conditions and illnesses best managed by just patience and parents' "tender loving care." Dr. Cevey views her job as the opportunity to share her experience as a mom who happens to be a pediatrician to guide parents towards recognizing which situations fall into which category.
Dr. Lauren Sadovsky is a board-certified pediatrician who will join the practice part-time in July 2019! She received her undergraduate degree in Theology from the University of Dallas. She then went to the University of North Texas Health Science Center - TCOM for medical school. She completed her pediatric training with Baylor College of Medicine at the Children's Hospital of San Antonio (what most people in San Antonio know as Santa Rosa).
Dr. Sadovsky's particular interests as a pediatrician are to identify developmental delays and to help with weight management or obesity. She also loves to guide parents through all the questions that come up while raising healthy, happy children.
Dr. Sadovsky grew up in San Antonio. She is married to a fellow San Antonio native, and they have a daughter, Ellie, and a son, Jack. She loves to spend her free time playing with her family, and watching the kids grow up.
